Cortney(Kris's step sister), graduated from Payson High last night!
Teri(Kris's mom), graduates from Provo College in massage therapy Saturday!
Denise(Jon's mom), finished her graduate program and got her masters in education!
We are so proud of you guys and wanted to let you know how much we love you!
As for our bunch we're tackling the project of our yard and what a project it is. We were hoping to get enough done last weekend to be able to put in sod this weekend, but the weather wasn't cooperating. So it will probably be another week before that happens, but that's OK, it's actually happening and that's what matters most.
The kids are doing well. David is literally growing right in front of our eyes. At 3 months he is 17 lbs! It's no wonder my back has been hurting lately. I guess it's a good thing I know a massage therapist ;) David is such a good baby. He has been such a fun addition to our little family. He is always smiling and 'talking' to us. He is even trying to roll over! I'm so excited, but sad at all he and Brooklyn are doing because it means they are growing up and aren't going to be my babies for long. We're still working on potty training with Brooklyn. She is doing really well, especially for how young she is, she just has a hard time remembering sometimes. Maybe with Kaylee coming to visit in a few weeks (hooray!) it will help. Brooklyn has also mastered the fine art of opening doors. We had to go buy those special covers to keep her out of the places she shouldn't be. She really is just too big and too smart.
Jon continues to be busy with work. He has been overseeing a few big projects, including a new call center in California, updating the Utah call center and the installation of security systems and cameras in all 100+ stores. They have hired a 3rd person, so hopefully he will soon be ready to take some of the burdens off of Jon's shoulders.
I'm excited for the warm weather and finally getting a yard so I can go outside and play with the kids. As of Monday I will be officially back to on call at work and am already scheduled for a few days this summer. I'm excited to be able to go back to work a little bit and help bring in some extra money to help pay for our projects (the yard, basement, etc) as well as have a little non mommy time.
Well, that's about all for now. David just woke up so I'm off to take care of him. Here are some pictures to enjoy!
Did I mention we got a fence? Well we did! Here is is

and these are our dirt piles . . . we decided to put down top soil before we put down sod

She fell asleep in her high chair

Caught in the act! Playing in brothers bouncer

This was so cute! I'm sorry the pictures are kind of blurry, I took these with my phone because I was trying to hurry and catch the moment before I got caught taking pictures . . .

. . . Brooklyn was reading stories to David.

And of course, our big, smiley boy!

They are so cute. I love the pictures of Brooklyn reading to David. I can't believe how many books she has memorized. But today, I loved her comment that she wanted to get on the bike with her purse and go shopping, shopping, shopping! You probably better keep those occasional work days!
