Brooklyn is now just 4 months shy of being 3! I can't believe it. She is such a big girl. She is 99.99% potty trained. We still have a few night time accidents, but during the day we've only had I think one accident in the last two weeks. It's so nice to have only one child in diapers now. We don't have her asthma
completely under control but Brooklyn has not been admitted to the hospital in over a year now and for that we are truly grateful. She she such a trooper about taking her medicines for the most part. She takes Singular and Zyrtec as well as doing a breathing treatment everyday. On days she is having symptoms we up her breathing treatments and monitor her oxygen levels closely. Brooklyn has loved her swimming lessons as long as grandma or mommy is holding on tight. Her teacher said that at this age it's more about getting them comfortable in the water than actually teaching them to swim. She still loves books and singing. She makes up a lot of her own stories and songs. It's so interesting to see the way her mind works. She loves her little brother, sometimes a little too much, and has continued to be a really good big sister and helper for mommy and daddy. Like David, Brooklyn has loved spending time this summer with grandma Denise while mommy works a few hours at the credit union. She loves her swing set, sand box, wadding pool and play kitchen grandma bought for her back yard. She is also looking forward to Kaylee coming to visit and going to ride uncle Kay's horses this summer. I do have to say that she is a true 2 1/2 year old with all the behaviors that come with it. She really tires my patience sometimes. I'm tyring so hard to be more patient and a better mommy. Taking it one day at a time and sometimes one hour or minute at a time, but I love my kids and try to be the best mom I can. We love you Brookie Brooke!

This is how she watches her favorite movie Cinderella at grandma's house.

She says "I'm ca-RRAA-zy" and she's right!

Love her!
We haven't seen you crazy people for ever! Waa!
She is truly a joy! She keeps me in good supply of Brookie-isms for my FB page. I can't believe the things that child comes up with. She keeps me laughing all the time. Like yesterday's quips. What a funny girl!
