California

The kids did surprisingly well on our two 10 hour dives. We had so much fun and yes, Jon survived a whole week away from his cell phones and computers. He had fun hanging out with Chad and CJ. They went shooting and Jon even got to go with Chad to work for a day. Brooklyn and Kaylee played pretty much non stop. The only thing that interrupted their play was sleep and when Kaylee was at school. Braxton and David did pretty good for the first day or two, but once Brax realized David wasn't going anywhere he started getting possessive of his toys. I enjoyed being lazy and spending time with my sister. The last day was probably the most exciting, but not for good reason. Brooklyn had a been coughing for a few days and had started throwing up. Then her oxygen levels took a dive, hoovering between 93 & 88 and her heart rate was really high. So on our way out of town we stopped at an insta care to have her checked out. The result was a fever, double ear infection and croup. They pumped her full of meds and we were on our way back to Utah. We miss our Giles family, but we're glad to be home.

Brooklyn was decked out with her own DVD player for the trip thanks to grandma Teri.

David passed the time by playing Peek-a-boo

Brax and Kaylee got these for Easter and the kids had lots of on them.

The kids frosting and enjoying the cookies Grandma Teri sent (or at least what was left of them after Em and I were done with them =)
Playing in the dirt at CJ's baseball game.
Otterpops!
The whole crew

We played outside A LOT
and David mastered the stairs.
Passed out on the way home.
We hit some pretty bad weather on the way home, but it cleared up a bit and we saw some awesome rainbows.

Your pics are so cute, except one thing is missing... pictures of you and Jon. I would like to see your happy smiling face.
