Twilight

OK, I admit it. I went to the midnight premier of the Twilight movie. It was fun to have a girls night out away from the kiddos. It was probably one of the cheesiest movies I've ever seen, but I loved every minute of it. The acting wasn't the greatest, but what can I say, I'm a fan. It has to be hard squeezing a 500 page book into a two hour movie and no movie is ever as good as the book, but I would recommend it to anyone who likes the Twilight series. Be sure and look for a special appearance by Stephanie Meyer herself (she's the lady sitting at the counter at the diner). Also, two of the songs from the soundtrack, played during the movie are sung by Robert Pattinson (Edward) himself. I didn't know how I was going to feel about Robert (Edward), but he did a pretty good job. Kristen Stewart(Bella) was also pretty good. Taylor Lautner (Jacob) was very attractive and Ashley Greene (Alice) was perfect, but their parts seemed very down played compared to the book as well as most of the other characters. Anyways, like I said, I liked it and would recommend it to anyone who liked the books.
We originally got these shirts for the Breaking Dawn book release, but they were perfect for this too. The fronts say 'Team Edward' and the backs say 'Screw being a Princess I want to be a Vampire.'

Overall I enjoyed the movie too. I wish they had been able to develop the characters more. Had I not read the book, I would not have felt a connection to the characters. I'll be interested to see what they do with New Moon since they will have a much-much larger budget.
