The big day

Sorry it's taken me a few days to get this up. I've been recovering from it all. It was a lot to squeeze into one weekend. Thanks again to everyone that helped make it even more special. Well . . . I guess I'll start at the beginning. Friday night Jon and I received our endowments at the Provo LDS temple. It was such an amazing experience. We were surrounded by friends and family who were there to support us. Then on Saturday we were sealed as a family also in the Provo LDS temple (to learn more about our religion click here. Another amazing experience that words can not describe. Jon surprised me with a wedding band after our sealing and before they brought the kids in. I was very surprised. It was something we had talked about, but not something I expected. The kids did so great and looked like little angels in their white clothes. Again we were surrounded by friends and family and were greeted by even more outside. It was a gorgeous day and we got lots of fun pictures (coming soon). After the sealings we had a little luncheon at my Grandma Scott's ward building and Jon blessed both kids. He did an amazing job. (I know I've said 'amazing' a lot, but it's the best word I can think of to describe everything.) This has been such a testimony building experience for me. I've always know that the church was true, even when I wasn't living it, but this experience has given me a testimony that it's true. Now we're back to the reality of day to day life, but I hope I never forget the feelings of this weekend. Jon and I plan to go back as often as we can, in fact we are going tonight. Hopefully this will help us hold on to those feelings and keep that special spirit with us always. Thanks again to everyone for their help, love and support. We love you!
