Trunk-or-treating

Tonight I took the kids over to the church for our wards Halloween party and trunk-or-treating. It was a lot of fun to see all of our friends and neighbors all dressed up. I took the kids around to all of the other cars and then we sat in the back of our Durango and passed out candy to all of the other kids. Since I ordered the kids's costumes on e-bay they aren't here yet, so luckily their costumes from last year still fit. Brooklyn was a Green Bay Packers cheerleader and David was Bret Farve in his Green Bay days. I even got in the spirit and dressed up. It was a last second, thrown together costume, but it worked. I was going for the coach look, but came off looking more like a Green Bay Packers fan. Oh well. Then when we got home I let them each have one piece of their candy and then promptly hid it so they didn't devour it. Someone should probably come hide it from me though . . .

Here they are all dressed up.

Trying to get both kids in the picture.

Earlier in the night David had the helmet and shoulder pads on too, but they didn't last long.

Enjoying their reward.
