Adventures in parenting

So we ended up at the InstaCare once again with Brooklyn, but for once it wasn't for her asthma. Luckily her new medications are proving themselves and she has had no symptoms since her last hospital visit. The reason for our InstaCare visit this time was we thought she needed stitches. I was up stairs with the kids and Jon was out side with Erik and his motorcycle. Brooklyn wanted to look out the window and see them. We have large windows, so she in tall enough to see out them, but apparently she wanted a better view so she climbed up onto her doll stroller. Then stroller slid out from under her, she fell face first into the wall and bit though her lower lip. Luckily though she did not need stitches and it is actually healing pretty well and fast. I'm convinced she's going to give me a heart attack one of these days.

My favorite Brookieism: while she is bleeding on me, "I leakin' on you; sorry. I need a wipe; I clean it Gwama." She is so precious. I thought I was going to have a heart attack too as I raced to meet you at the InstaCare!

Ouch! I hope she is doing better, that looks like it hurt!
