The 24th of July(also know as pioneer day)is a big deal in Utah and Spanish Fork is no exception. The week of the 24th marks SF's Fiesta Days. The kids aren't old enough to understand so we didn't really get into the festivities. We caught the end of the parade, but only because we met up with Lori's family (Kris's step mom) there and followed them over to Grandma Swartz's house for lunch. It was a lot of fun just relaxing, enjoying some good food and each others company for a few hours. When we got home and the kids took some much needed naps, we opted to stay home and have everyone come see us for a change. We made dinner and invited Grandpa Harold, Grandma Lori and Grandma Denise over and then did some fireworks. We can also see the SF fireworks from our neighborhood so we walked down to a neighbors house and watched those too. It was a fun, relaxing day.
It wouldn't be an outing with our a picture of David asleep =) I had laid him down on a blanket while everyone was eating lunch and he played contently for a long time. After awhile, someone noticed he fell asleep, right there on the grass. It was pretty cute.

Not only was David fast asleep amid all the festivities, but I see that the thumb found its way into his mouth! I don't think he can go to sleep without it!! I loved watching Brookie in her pj's, slippers, and sun glasses watching the fireworks. She is too funny.
