I know I haven't posted in a while. I think I've been in danile. I kept hoping my next post I would get to include exciting news and pictures of our new little one, but he doesn't seem to want to come out. I guess I still have a about a week, I was just hoping for some pity and have him come early. I have started to dilate, so that's encouraging. If he hasn't come by the 20th (my due date) they are going to induce me. I'll keep you updated. Brooklyn is doing great. She's getting so big. She had a well child check up about 2 weeks ago and she is 32 1/4 in and 22 lbs. That puts her in the 95% for height and 30% for weight, that means out of 100 kids her age she would be taller than 95 of them and weigh more than 30 of them (she's really tall and skinny =). Also at her appointment, Dr. Berry was going over some of the development questions when he got to questions about her language skills. At her age she should know about 4 words he said. Of course he couldn't even say this with a straight face. She's at more like 4 new words a day. Her comprehension is off the charts too. When went out to dinner with Grandma Denise a few weeks ago and when the waitress came to take our orders and after everyone else ordered Brooklyn looked at the waitress and said "and I want cookies." It was so cute. We are also working on moving her out of her crib into a big girl bed. She does OK most nights in it, but not during the day for naps. I was hoping to have her completely moved over before the baby comes, but he will be in our room in the bassinet for the first little while anyways, so I guess we still have some time. She has also been acting interested in potty training. I thought she was too young for this, but we bought her a training potty and she asks to go and even goes most of the time when we put her on it. We still have a long way to go, but it's fun to see her try and learn new things. Well, that's the latest on us. I'll keep you updated on baby news, hopefully sooner than later, until then here are some pictures to enjoy!
